请同学们从以下写作任务中，选择一个写作任务，按照要求在自己的电脑上进行写作，然后将写好的内容上传到课程平台。辅导教师根据写作任务的完成质量，给予相应分数。
建议同学们先对相关单元的内容进行有针对性的学习之后，再完成写作任务。写作任务后面的括号中标出了该任务所在的单元中的位置，以方便同学们查找。
写作任务：
1. Choose a fashion or style that is popular with a group of people in our country. Write a description of about 200–250 words.
• Paragraph 1:Mention the clothes, accessories and make-up they usually wear.
• Paragraph 2:Mention the kind of music they listen to.
• Paragraph 3:Mention how they typically spend their free time.

6.Describe one of famous tourist resorts you know well in China.
Remember to: ·include the background information
• describe the good points and bad points about it
• make a list of things to see and do there

7.Write a story of about 200–250 words which ends with the sentence ‘That was the last time he/she ever saw them.’ Use these ideas and to help you.
• Think of a situation where someone might feel relieved, shocked or disappointed to stop seeing a group of people. Why did the characters not see each other again?
• Think of your characters’ ages. Are they your age, younger or older?
• Think of the period in history and the place of your story.
• Think of the best style or format for your story and decide how you want to begin the story:
a）dialogue (direct speech);
b）a description of a person
c）the history of what had happened before the main part of the story
d）a background description of a place, the weather etc
e）a dramatic event which is key to the story
